Just another Kbox

Saturday, July 10, 2010

It's been awhile I go for a good singing session in kbox. Yea, today went there with my usual frens. Lots of new songs I wanted to sing, so once inside just spam all the new songs, especially Jay Chou's! Lol-ed. Too bad dun hav his 《跨时代》or else it would be a very good starting song for the session lol-ed. Along the way Roger ordered a cup of whiskey and we were like O.O. The drink came and everyone tried abit of it...for me, where I don realli like this kind of drinks, the drink was horrible =x. Can't believe Roger could drank it. Well, maybe it's part of growing up eh...must learn to drink abit...but I really dislike them ~_~.

21

Saturday, May 29, 2010

Last Friday, 21 May 2010, was the day I stepped into my 21st year of living in this World. Looking back, it was very clear which part is good and which is filled with...things that are not worth talking. In the early years when I was still a naive little boy, life was average...and as I neared my adolescence, the turn of events were just waiting to happen. As I entered my adolescence, things began to change, and I gradually understand this society...this world. As I continues through in search of answers to endless questions, the answers led to more questions.

When another bolt of event strikes hard on me, I saw the silhouette of my fate. It was the peak of adolescence...I threw everything away and embraced void...I began to create the masquerades...to protect myself. Slowly, those masquerades filled the void. During the process, I met numerous events, which somehow added colors to the void.

Like a phoenix born from ashes, I entered my late adolescence with new philosophies and ideologies. Thus, I began to accept the answers, where they transmute into real life events to warn me not to change them.

And now, those masquerades have form the shields around the core, and I shall hold my Excalibur to carry on with my journey...

[I think readers won't understand what the heck I'm writing, well...this post is for myself to read in the future when I look back in my life.]

Cloud

Saturday, May 15, 2010

Personally, I love admiring the clouds whenever I have the chance. Sometimes I feel like being one of them.

I am able to fly freely in the sky...or I can choose a particular area and drift slowly by. While drifting high up in the sky, I can look down at the people below me, observe what they are doing. And when I got bored or sick of that place, I can call upon the wind to bring me to another place, meet new things, see new people. When I feel low, I will just start a downpour, after which when the green plants and new sprouts will flourish the Earth like a piece of beautiful art piece when seen from the heaven, I would then feel comforted. When seasons starts to change, the migratory birds will fly with me, side by side sometimes, with their amazing formation.

Able to float freely - no restrictions, no rules, no one stopping. Able to travel around the world, able to observe all sorts of people. Clouds, take me with you, on your next journey...

Miko-chan~

Monday, December 14, 2009

Hmmm, do you remember I posted the godly girl who played the 2 opening songs for Clannad anime? Actually, few weeks ago I found out her profile name in nicovideo, which is Miko. Nicovideo is equivalent to Japan's Youtube, and you need a account to login to watch their videos. How I got an account there? It's a coincidence. Last time I sign up for an account in order to play a Jap online game and coincidentally I dunno why I was able to log into nicovideo using that account hehehe. Well, browsing around nicovideo was fun, lots of interesting videos around. I would post up some if I find any. Anyways, here's another video from Miko-chan performing the Opening song from the anime "AIR".

Last Page of Calender 2009

Tuesday, December 8, 2009

It's always seems so fast, and it will never change - time. It's already the last month of the year AD 2009. 2009 was a memorable year for me, because many important events happened in this year, and dreams that I thought that would never to come true came true. Firstly, my Final Year Project ended...well, it's equivalent to my school life ending. It all came to a dead end when my graduation came. Yea...graduation...it was memorable, especially the chalet right after it. Remember the days we jam ourselves through the night with guitar hero and rock band on xbox360? And the days we woke up in the wee hours in the morning and walk along the beach, enjoying the breeze?

Next important thing of course was the 'Distant Worlds Music from Final Fantasy' orchestra concert. 23rd May 2009, unforgettable day indeed. A day one of my dreams was fulfilled. Then my digital keyboard came, hence I can finally realize another dream - to learn and play the piano. Although I'm not a pro or even intermediate, I had been practicing hard and had learnt a few Anime soundtracks =D.

There are still many other minor things that are worth remembering. Things like the times when my friends and I went to have breakfast during FYP, times when my friends and I sat in the poly's Kou Fu and rot etc...Ah, still have my refined style uncle go up on stage and sang so OMG...lol-ed

Then...the time to serve the country comes. Hmm, although it's a major event, it's nothing to be memorable of...hah. And now, I finished the 9 weeks basic training and I still has a long long way to go. Haiz...I really wan to go back to study...

Anyways, my portfolio is updated.

Current Situation

Friday, October 16, 2009

Just an quick update of my current life. I'm right now serving the army and it's all I can say. All army related stuffs are highly confidential, so I don't want to get charged by leaking any. Well, for me, it's quite hellish for me. Very physical demanding till the point you wanna just die lol-ed. Haiz...I dunno how am I gonna pass 8 weeks more. I think I will just drag myself through. Whatever, I'm tired, so needa go slp.

ILoveILiveILeave Version 桜

Thursday, September 24, 2009

Wheeee changed blogskin~ I felt like making a theme skin so I chose the flower that I wanted to see the most - cherry blossoms aka sakura aka 桜 lol-ed. I have always love to see leaves detached from their branches and slowly drifting down to the earth when a wind or breeze blew. It always is a calming scene to look at. Also, through anime or jap related stuff, when it's the sakura season in the country, the sakura trees will bloom to their fullest and it's OMG beautiful! Need not to say it's beyond beautiful when the sakura petals come pelting down from the trees, like what they always like to show in anime lol-ed. I will someday visit Japan surely...

Enough about cherry blossom...hmm...Last Friday went Games Convention Asia 2009 (GCA 2009). Quite small and not much games there..or mayb not much games that interest me =x. Well, at least I got to try the latest Need For Speed: Shift before I go buy it. The game was eh...very difficult to control. Steering was real sensitive and car easily gets out of control when you go on sand. Turning wise...the car they demo for ppl to use was not easy at all. Turning angle is real small...like F1 cars lol-ed. Then other games....Gears of War 2, Halo3, Forza Motosport 3, Dragonica, Brutal Legend...few game titles I can remember seeing that day.

Then kena surveyed by the organizer's surveyor to get feedback on this year's GCA. Remembered there was one question where he asked something about which company you wish to see at GCA next time. I answered "Hmmm...Square Enix.....Billizard..." LOL-ed. Well, can't think of anymore at that moment so I just said those two. Should have remembered Bioware, Activision, Crytek, Capcom, Falcom, Koei, Konami, Bandai, LucasArt, Rockstar Game, Sega, SCE, Ubisoft, Valve...etc etc..lol-ed, spam all games companies.

Yea, ever since I watched the awesome video of Clannad ~After Story~ opening song posted in my previous post, I went on a journey to search what model was that electronic organ and also who is that girl that plays so godly lol-ed. Well, I did not yet have any clue who was that girl, but I finally found out the model of that electric organ. It's called Yamaha Electone Stagea. What really blows me off is the price....it costed 1,081,500円(yen) which is equivalent to USD 11857 Zz_-ed. Man...must be super rich and pro in organ to buy this. Anyways, the following video showcase the same girl performing Clannad opening song 'メグメル'. This song is faster than the previous..hence from the video you can see how busy the girl was. I really respect her...she's one person orchestra lol-ed.
